Meet 3ina! You say it ‘Mina’, you wear it how ever you please! The bold makeup brand launched in South Africa last week Thursday and I’m excited about this addition to beauty bags around the country! To celebrate 3ina arriving on our shores, the multi-talented Anna-Belle of She Said asked if I’d collaborate with her and some other female creatives.
With such bright, highly pigment colours, we went for a light and airy feel with sculptural plants and flowers. To showcase the brand’s cult products like the 3ina Eyeliner Pen and the 3ina Highlighter, Hair and Makeup Liezl Leech played with texture and shape on our striking model Rosana. On a side note, co-founder Mark Eve’s was there on the night of the launch and told us the 3ina Eyeliner Pen was the first product in development and the last product to be finished. The hi-tech formula and non-drag brush and tip took long to perfect but make the product one of the brand’s best sellers.
The new brand is unique in South Africa is that it has really high-quality products with sophisticated, minimal packaging at really affordable price points. The first store, which opened in Eastgate last week Thursday, is an incredible space- merchandising is something that brands in this price level often get wrong or just neglect. So to walk into a store that makes you feel like a million bucks without spending an absorbent amount is something really special. The staff were also really knowledgeable and warm- no snobby girls (or guys) at 3ina! I’m obviously thrilled that the brand is cruelty-free too.
3ina’s first store can be found in Eastgate Shopping Centre and the brand will be opening stores around the country soon. 3ina are not giving me any affiliate commission or payment for the gushy fangirl style posts whatsoever, I just have a huge crush on them! Catch them on Instagram using @3INA.
