I’ve fallen in love with Bloss & Co’s cute and cool backpack from their Spring Summer 2016 collection. Unveiled last week, the new collection is a decedent pastel-hued feast for the eyes. Inspired by petits fours and delicately hued choux pastries, Bloss & Co’s selection for the season has something for every kind of woman’s needs, with classic totes and shoulder bags and on-trend purses in shades that go from quirky to timeless. There’s even a range of overnight bags that the Bloss & Co team have designed to convert into a nappy bag, because they want their products to be as multifunctional as possible.
The vintage style of the Lisa Nylon Backpack is roomy with a drawstring top and tons of pockets inside and out to keep absolutely anything in. The backpack has a luxurious signature lining designed for Bloss & Co by South African artist Kelly Higgs and they’ll even monogram the external front pocket for you!
I opt for backpacks as an everyday must-have, they leave me hands-free to look at garments or put the finishing touches on an outfit when I’m on set. There’s also no bag option more practical to safely stow a camera in, or wear if I’m taking photographs. While I haven’t travelled with this sweet bag yet, I’m looking forward to taking it with me on my next trip because it’s so practical.
Backpacks have been on-trend for a few seasons now and see no signs of slowing down. Whether paired with a ladylike dress, athleisure basics or a simple layered look with denim, these bags add youthful nostalgia. How will you wear your backpack this summer?
